I'm returning to the dubbing booth with the character of Maria Balbina Echeverri in "Corazon Traicianado" where I will channel the dead and seduce the lead. Typecasting at its finest.
Urban Theatre Movement's One Act Festival continues, as I make my directing debut with "The Mountain" by Juan Amador and work with the always fantastic Spencer Weitzel and Charlie Jake Sanchez.
Come watch an energetic evening of theatre at Urban Theatre Movement's One Act Festival, where I am performing in the hilarious comedy "AirBnb" and the modern noir drama "Femme Noir". Glitter, girl fights, and gorgeous gams await!
Sometimes it's much more fun to be the quirky characters...I'm adding a voice to the novela "Somos Familia" as the leader of a group of Extraterrestrial believers.
I've always known I belonged in the 40's, and now I can prove it! Look for me in the new short film "Rear Projection" where I play the young version of a feisty grandma, who doesn't quite agree with her husband's telling of the story of how they met.
Another character is on my list thanks to the great people at Voxx Studios! This time I'll be joining "Voltea" as the perfectly poised, paranoid, (and plastic surgeried) wife Pilar. Keep 'em coming, guys!
I am so happy to announce that Urban Theatre Movement has asked me to become a member of their company. Here's to more gritty, honest work and successful partnership together.
It's back! "Replica" returns to the stage, this time at the Complex in Hollywood. And, what's more? This time I'm playing Anna, the ringleader of a group of meth addicted, white supremacist ladies on a dark mission. Come check out a grimy and compelling set of characters as Mickey, a low level drug dealer, tries to make better of his life in 90's Los Angeles. Tickets and info at www.urbantheatremovement.com
The voice dubbing jobs keep coming and this time...I'm the lead! I'll be leading the voice cast of "Piel Salvaje" as the fiery and driven Camila Espino. Fiery? Driven? Me? Nah.
With one novela already under my belt, I'm joining the dubbing cast of the Columbian "Alla Te Espero" as Berenice, a human trafficker who has her eye on the virtuous main man. Villains certainly are my specialty.
You all definitely picture me as a sexy, unstable meth addict, right? Right, guys? Well, if you just can't picture it, you'll have to see it in person as I perform with Urban Theatre Movement in their newest original piece "Replica" written and directed by Paul Tully. It will perform July 31st-Aug 23rd at the Elephant Theatre in Hollywood. Info at www.urbantheatremovement.com
I'm happy to announce my newest carrier venture, voice dubbing with Voxx Studios on the telenovela "Amor Secreto" as the sexy and conniving Altair. If you're in South Africa in a few months, keep an ear out!
The Theatre@Boston Court has been my home this winter, and I am so grateful and excited to say that I am an understudy in the original piece "The Missing Pages of Lewis Carroll" as Lorina, the eldest daughter. Understudy performances February 9th and 11th. Visit bostoncourt.org for more info!
